MLS: FC Dallas at Real Salt Lake

This game was played on Saturday, May 10. I'm having a tough time getting enthused about recapping televised road games, but, the investigative bullet points are back from hiatus. Let's get on with it, then:

MLS: FC Dallas at CD Chivas USA

This match actually took place this past Sunday, but I have been stewing on the recap and plain stalled on writing it. In short, despite the win, I wasn't thrilled. I know, right? Me neither! Oh, totally. Anyway, let's get on with it:

Breaking News from Fantasyland

Yesterday, Not Manchester United defeated So-Called Brazil 6-1 in a thriller. It happened on our Wii box running PES 2008 (Konami).

MLS: New York Red Bulls at FC Dallas - Photos

FCD fans can technically bask in the glow of an undefeated team, however that's technical talk, as "undefeated" doesn't mean they won any games. New York came into this as a favorite, what with Juan Pablo Angel and Jozy Altidore on the roster. But Angel got injured and didn't make the trip. Might that be the game-changer? Time once more for YOUR investigative bullet points:

Opportunity Costs

Back in the days when I had ready access to WSCR AM (Chicago), someone was about to ask Norm Van Lear (former Bulls player) about college basketball, and then stopped short, assuming that he'd only want to discuss pro teams. "Basketball's basketball," he replied, and the conversation resumed.

MLS: FC Dallas at Houston Dynamo

FC Dallas playing road games against Houston haven't ended well. As in, FCD has yet to score a standings point at Robertson Stadium. Might this match be the exception?
